Networking dinner – in an old Polish style!

20140905_Oycowizna_014 On the outskirts of Warsaw, there is a place where time seems to have stopped – a traditional countryside cottage where experienced cooks prepare the most delicious specialties of the Polish traditional cuisine. If you haven’t tried pierogi, borscht, sour rye soup with egg or marinated herring yet, you will be able to taste these dishes – and many more – during out networking evening on Friday 24th March. If the dishes seem a bit risky, don’t worry, we promise you’ll love at least some of them – and the restaurant also serves such delicacies as duck stuffed with apples and traditional Polish pork cutlets, bound to please all meat lovers.

To observe Polish tradition, there will be no shortage of food, good music to dance and refreshments to keep up the good spirits. Sounds like a perfect environment for networking!

We have also prepared a short Q&A based on the last year’s popular questions:

Q: Can I see the restaurant website?
A: Of course, it’s at Oycowizna.pl. Unfortunately, it’s only available in Polish or Russian, but you can take a look at the English menu here.

Q: How do I prove my eligibility for the dinner?
A: All who register and pay for the networking dinner will get a special ticket with your conference badge when you arrive at TLC. The registration for the dinner is in the same place as the registration for the conference.

Q: How do I get to the restaurant?
A: There will be a special bus which will take all the networking dinner attendees to the dinner venue. It is ca. 30 minutes from Warsaw. It will also take us back to the hotel after the event.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Whatever is appropriate for the conference, will be appropriate for the restaurant. Remember to wear comfortable shoes, we hope you’ll dance with us there!

Q: Do I need to register for the networking workshop?
A: Yes, there will be additional registration for the dinner’s networking workshop. We’ll keep you posted on this.

Q: I’m vegan. Will there be food I can eat?
A: No worries, Polish cuisine is rich in vegetables and pulses so the menu is full of vegetarian and vegan options.
