All prices (including conference fees as well as lunch, supporter package, networking dinner prices etc.) are net prices, local 23% VAT applies. In line with regulations, conference attendance is taxed according to local provisions and at the place of the conference. Our conference is held in the same country (Poland) in which the invoice is issued, and the recipient of the service must physically come to the country to participate. In the EU, in the case of conferences, there is no “import of services”. Therefore, Polish VAT applies.

ATA continuing education points: you can get 10 American Translators Association points for attending TLC2017.

Discounts: If you are a student, you get 30% discount, and if you are a member of a partner organization, you get 10% discount from the Regular and Late prices, also during the Early Bird period (so your choice is Early Bird price without discount vs. discounted Regular price). The discount does not concern fees for lunch, networking evening and supporter package. Keep in mind that the discounts do not sum – if you select two discounts, the higher one will apply. You will also need to provide a proof that you are entitled to the discount – your member number in the case of partner organizations and a scan or photo of your student ID card in the case of students (you can e-mail it to us).

    We’re trying to limit changes, but please note that final agenda may change as we move closer to the event. If you select a single day attendance, you will be entitled to switch to another conference day until the end of February at no additional charge.
    The networking dinner is a wonderful occasion to meet with other professionals and network in a less official manner. The location is still a secret, but it will be a place with delicious food, drinks and music. The price includes a welcome drink, dinner and transport from the hotel to the venue and back. Fee refunds: If you register for the conference and pay the conference fee, you are of course free to withdraw at any time before the conference. Withdrawing on the day of the conference will not be possible.

– If you withdraw by 31 January 2017, we will refund 90% of the conference fee.

– If you withdraw by 28 February 2017, we will refund 50% of the conference fee.

– If you withdraw by 10 March 2017, we will refund 20% of the conference fee.

Payment methods: Your registration is only fully confirmed after the payment is made. You can pay either by a wire transfer or with PayPal (all PayPal payments are subject to a 10 EUR surcharge).
